Discernment counseling

Designed for couples, when one partner is unsure whether to stay together or separate. This short-term, structured process helps each partner gain clarity and confidence about the relationship’s future.

Therapy Methods

I work with adults and couples navigating life’s complexities—whether you're seeking personal healing, relational clarity, or support through transition.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

Blends acceptance and change. Designed for intense emotions and relational challenges. We work through mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness. 

Brainspotting

Uses eye position to access and process trauma stored deep in the nervous system. It bypasses overthinking and reaches the emotional core—where healing unfolds organically. 

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)

Uses bilateral stimulation to help reprocess distressing memories. Especially effective for trauma, reducing emotional intensity and shifting how past experiences are stored.  

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

Focuses on the connection between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. We identify unhelpful patterns and practice new ways of thinking and responding. 

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

Views the mind as a system of “parts,” each with its own story and role. We explore these parts with compassion, guided by your core Self. 

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

Helps you make space for difficult thoughts and emotions. Through mindfulness and values-based action, we build psychological flexibility—so you can live with more clarity, purpose, and presence.
