Everyone deserves to heal

Hi. I’m Ruth, a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) based in Edina, MN. My work is shaped by over a decade of experience supporting adults and couples, and by a deep commitment to both clinical excellence and the client experience.

Before becoming a therapist, I worked as an actor and talent agent—supporting the emotional health of performers and creatives. That early work taught me the power of attunement, storytelling, and holding space for creative transformation.

Today, I integrate modalities like Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Brainspotting, EMDR, CBT, DBT, and Internal Family Systems (IFS).  Clients often describe me as warm, intuitive, and clear thinking. I value collaboration, feedback, and the creative process of healing.

The hummingbird isn’t just a namesake—it’s a metaphor that echoes through every part of my work. A harbinger of change, a symbol of resilience, and a messenger of joy, the hummingbird reminds us that healing isn’t purely clinical. It’s personal, soulful, and alive with mystery.

Why Hummingbird?

“The world is full of magic things, patiently waiting for our senses to grow sharper.”
